"What we do in the Shadows"

For Spring break I went back to Maryland to visit old friends and old haunts. I also went to some new places, including the E Street Cinema in D.C.. E Street is sort of an indie or cult classic theater which I am loving. My friend and I went to see "What we do in the Shadows" which I would describe as a vampire mock-umentary.

Here is IMDb's description: "Viago, Deacon, and Vladislav are vampires who are finding that modern life has them struggling with the mundane - like paying rent, keeping up with the chore wheel, trying to get into nightclubs, and overcoming flatmate conflicts."

I was immediately pulled in by their personalities and their shenanigans. I loved the "worms" part. The whole movie plays like some reality show on MTV.

Over all this is a comedy and it really was hilarious; everyone in the theater laughed, multiple times.

"Yeah some of our clothes are from victims. You might bite someone and then, you think, 'Oooh, those are some nice pants'".
I would say "What we do in the Shadows" is now firmly in my top 5 movies list and I can't wait to see it again.
